liked it

I really thought the book was was going to go into addiction as a disease and how it developed in the father. However, it appropriately touched on how a family member's addiction affects everyone's life...not just the addict. I thought it had the right amount of humor...especially towards the end when the son and father were discussing what the father should say at the son's wedding:) I really felt like I got to know the father's personality and demeanor. Not a wonderful book, but not terrible either.
