Outside In, the sequel to Inside Out, was a vast improvement from its predecessor. The pacing was right on, the dialog and sequencing wasn't littered with quests that only served to take-up time, and the plot was fantastic.

I really enjoyed it.

So why only three stars? Because the main love interests make out and remove the girl's shirt, exposing her, then they take a shower together, and finally they become mates and become intimate. The last part isn't too bad, if it weren't that the characters are 17. Yes, I am old fashioned, which means that I believe in a specific moral behavior. By now I hope that anyone who still follows me and reads my reviews isn't shocked by that.

Pull those scenes out and this would be a four, maybe five star book. They are completely unnecessary.
