It had been five years since Darius Cortez and her family had lost her father and when her mother returned an item of jewellery to her, she was shocked to find a coded message from her father. That was the beginning of a dramatic and dangerous quest to clear Darius’ father’s name; to find the truth about how and why he’d died.

Simon Hawke was a security analyst and part of the Steele Special Ops group which brought down terrorists across the globe. He had also been Alexander Cortez’s partner in the developing of the Amethyst Code, and with a special summit being held on an isolated island Simon and the team knew it would be a perfect opportunity to unmask the person behind the latest terror attack. When Simon discovered Darius on the island and learned of the unique skills she held, the combination of danger, conspiracy and intrigue threatened them all. What would be the outcome in this dangerous game where they were all determined to win?

The Amethyst Code is the 4th in the Steele Ops series by Aussie author Erin Moira O’Hara, and another well executed, fast paced thriller filled with plenty of action. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and highly recommend this novel to fans of the romantic suspense genre.

With thanks to the author for my digital ARC to read in exchange for an honest review.
