Lacetown is a typical small town where everyone know everyone else’s business. Jazz is a hairdresser. Michael is the mortician/coroner. They meet while waiting in line at a book signing. Michael to get his favorite author to sign some books and Jazz to confront his almost ex husband. Michael gets his books signed and Jazz gets to be the suspect in a murder.

Oh boy, this one was fun, twisty and cute. Two very sweet leads who are older (I liked that). Both are unsure but want to pursue a relationship if murder, body parts, an annoying cat, and a less than likable sheriff would just get out of their way.

Nice whodunnit (though it did go over the top towards the end). I liked the characters and am hoping there will be another story.
