really liked it

One of my favorite passages on my beloved Colorado Plateau comes from this book: "Man is an interloper in that country, not merely because he maintains a foothold only on sufferance, depending on the precarious and sometimes disastrous flows of desert rivers, but because everything he sees is a reminder of his inconsequent destiny."
