Book 7 is Owen's story - rescued in book 6 he's Seth's younger brother. He's a hacker, a bit of a punk and courtesy of a nasty upbringing still expects to be punished whenever he makes a mistake.
Garrett, one of the hawk shifters, was attracted to Owen from when he first saw him - the romance between the two is both sweet and funny; Garrett is not keen on committment so is surprised when he can't get Owen out of his mind.
Owen's character is developed a lot more in this book; he's still sweet but there's a lot more explanation on what he went through and he comes across as much stronger than in book 6.
I found myself a bit confused by how he was achieving so much in his lab, but aside from that enjoyed the story.
