Let me preface my review by saying that I have loved all of Robert Crais' Elvis Cole novels. As an author, he has come a long way from being one of the Robert B. Parker imitators to finding his own voice.

The story has to do with immigrants trying to enter the US illegally, and how they are hijacked by multi-racial gangs who attempt to repeatedly sell them to their relatives and how to American teens get mixed in.

The new characters are well written with convincing backgrounds and the suspense kept me reading. There are sections within the book that are graphic and disturbing so this book is a light read.
