A Ball for Daisy is a light hearted, fun picture book for very young children. There are no words on the pages so the readers are interpreting the action in the book entirely from the pictures.
I thought the story line was cute but very, very simple. I feel that even little children may be bored with the line because it is very dumbed down. The dog has a ball he loves, it pops, he carries around the popped ball until he gets a new one. the end. It is very quick and too the point and I feel even smaller children would want more meat to the story.
The pictures are very cute and the i feel the children reading it would enjoy looking at the style of the pictures, but not enjoy the story its self.
