One of the weaker books in the series, I thought. There's a tendency in Latte Trouble for the author to go off on historical tangents in the middle of scenes. I kind of enjoy these tangents when they're about coffee (after all, that's part of what I signed up for by choosing a coffee cozy), but I'm less interested in the history of various NYC landmarks.

Like the first book in the Haunted Bookshop series ( Alice Kimberly and Cleo Coyle are one and the same), this book suffered from some editing issues. I was amused to find that some previous library patron had actually taken a red pen to some of the errors. Small mistakes aren't a dealbreaker for me, but they do make me grumpy.
