I though this was an amazing book. I like how adventurous Grace was and also how much she used her imagination. The illustrations were realistic and they told the story well. I love how the book reinforces that children can be and do anything they want if they put their mind to it!

Learning activity:

As a large group we will discuss the book and how the character felt throughout the book. I will give the children an emotions cube and have each child take a turn rolling the cube. Whatever emotion the cube lands on for that child, I will have children share a time they felt that certain emotion in their lives. The children will discuss that emotion and also tell us what they did to make them feel better.
