it was amazing
bookshelves: math, sharing

This book is great for counting, sharing, and love. It is good for counting because mom made 12 cookies for Victoria and Sam, which meant they would get six cookies each. Then the doorbell started to ring and everytime it rang it was someone who would stay over, so the amount of cookie would have to be divided but how many people were coming in eveyrtime the doorbell rang. It is good for sharing because, everytime a new person came in the kids would be more then glad to share the cookies with them. Lastly this book also involves love, because the mom and the grandmother had one thing in common and that was baking cookies, of course mom didn't make them as good as grandma but she was pretty close, so there was that special bond between them.

An activity i would do after reading the children this book is that i would give each child a certain amount of cookie, and then i would give them an addition problem and they would have to give me their answer with cookies, and if they get it right they'll get to eat a cookie and share it with a friend.
