Tiamat's Wrath (The Expanse, #8)

Governments exist on confidence. Not on liberty. Not on righteousness. Not on force. They exist because people believe that they do.
The duo of James S.A. Corey know how to write. This book was intense, engrossing and grueling (in the best way possible) with the focus on the political drama. It also set the table really well for the final chapter.
While the conflicts in "The Expanse" are galaxy-spanning, the strength of the series is the characters and their arcs. The same is true for this book as well. The authors gave me a good mix of small and big moments by new and old characters alike.
Tiamat's Wrath is the penultimate book in this wonderful series. I'll be waiting for the last book with anticipation and sadness. It will be hard to let go.
