really liked it

** spoiler alert ** Great book. Amazing how just a few months age difference could mean so much. Once Del told us why he's on probation and can't get into good colleges and has his job, I took on a whole different perspective of him. I liked him more because he got his life taken away when he was only fourteen. How fair is that? Not very! Then I loved how he overcame the past and kept his head up. I just thougt it was very unfair that he couldn't have a life anymore because of something so meaningless..... And he didn't force Cory to do that. She wanted him to. So how could Kaison take his life away when it wasn't just him. Thank god for Dr. Mote, Branson, Fred, and most of all, Livia. So this shows how, no matter what you might have done, people will still love you for who you are. Fred was hysterical and kept me laughing even if I wanted to cry for Del. Susan Vaught has a great, relateable voice. I can't wait to read more of her books!!
