really liked it

Great book for an alternative version of the historical events that shaped the USA. The title says it all, because it is a history from the point of view of the people.

I really enjoyed reading "A People's History of the US". For me as someone from another country, it was essential reading to better understand a wider perspective on how history springs from people and, leads to the present. A great reminder that present time history springs from the people, whether people understand their power, or not - people are the history makers because they are the creators of human events through individual and collective consciousness.
