You can miss a person every day, and still be glad that they are no longer in your life.
Reading Educated by Tara Westover reminded me of another book I've read this year. Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. These two books stand in opposite corners. David was not able to find acceptance and pushes others to do the same as he did - gain through the pain. Tara's book is all about acceptance, and I find it to be the far superior one of the two. While the name of David's book screams that he cannot be hurt, I find him to be the weaker one of the two authors.
Educated tells an amazing story. I needed to go through a quarter of the book before I became engrossed in it. But then I couldn't break away. Recommended to everyone.
