really liked it

Kristina Higgins always writes the epitome of romantic comedy and once again she does not disappoint. In this companion book to "The Next Best Thing" we now follow Parker, a single mother who didn't know how lucky she was to have the world by the tail until it is all gone. James, her father's lawyer, right hand man and the son he never had shows up to tell Parker that her father has drained her trust fund, her son's trust fund, all of the families great store of riches and she has a month to move out of the home that has always been in her family, and the only home her son has ever known. Worse she just celebrated the publishing of her final book, and all the proceeds have generously been donated to charity. How will she ever survive? How will she care for her son? She tries to find the answer to these questions and sort everything out--- all while James, the man she is not quite fond of right now, keeps popping up. A great story full of humor---especially the children book vignettes of books that will never be-- will have you laughing and crying and celebrating another happy ending, a unique and touching ending that will once again having you remembering why we love Higgins.
