it was amazing
bookshelves: audiobook, historical-fiction, all-the-feels, love-is-in-the-air

This was such an unexpectedly good book! I picked it up initially for the Greek gods narrating a story about the Great War, but it was so much better than just that. Every character is well-written and the Greek god narrators truly enhance the story. The hardships that the four main characters endure and the bonds they make would be an incredible story on their own, but Aphrodite's perspective, as well as that of Hades and Apollo, adds depth and an outside perspective. This is a story about love, race, and the aftermath of war. It's a book that I'll be talking about for a long time.

P.S. I definitely suggest the audiobook. Music is a HUGE part of the storyline and that is incorporated into the audio.
