I was really underwhelmed by it. Perhaps all the hype had me expecting too much. It was a lovely book, the world building was vivid in my mind and the romance had such sweet notes, but the pacing of the romance felt off and the overall story didn't work for me. I still liked it, it was worth the read, but I probably won't be going back to re-read it. Also, the cliffhanger at the end annoyed me rather than leaving me anxious for the next book.
