I read this because it was Felicia Day's Vaginal Fantasy Hangout pick. I didn't manage to read it in time for the hangout (which I couldn't attend anyway, because of the time difference) because I just got so bored.

I couldn't identify with the main character. I found her fickle and vapid. I was hoping for a book with a strong female lead, but this definitely doesn't tick that box. I can hardly believe this character was written by a woman!

The story gets going extremely slowly. The bulk of the book is taken up by ruminations of the protagonist that don't drive the story forward. It only got interesting towards the very end when the 'whodunnit' part of the storyline is revealed.

All in all disappointing.
