Do you want the Old Testament to come alive? Do you want the secret code book that unlocks the wisdom & mystery of the Old Testament (AND the whole Bible)? Read Echoes of Exodus.
The idea is simple- the Exodus story is the key to understanding the Old Testament, even the whole Bible.
It’s masterfully written, accomplishing the most difficult of feats- academic insight written simply and clearly, almost poetically. This is not a hard book to read. Its short chapters make a short book. But you will likely glean more from this book than the densest of seminary books.
Roberts takes top shelf, profound thinking & puts it on the bottom shelf. A short book w poetic prose- each sentence packed with insight. He communicates more in 176pgs than most books do in 700.
