it was amazing
bookshelves: 2019, level-adult

I loved this book in the same way that I loved The Great Divorce. I know I'm going to need to read it again to get more out of it, but the premise - basically taking on the devil's point of view and using it to explain how human beings are subtly tempted away from God - was handled brilliantly. Lewis really understood the human condition, and he had such a talent for holding the mirror up and helping fellow Christians see their flaws and missteps.
