I'm very surprised to not be enjoying this book. I love Malcolm Gladwell, love essay-type non-fiction, and have been a long-time fan of the Freakonomics guys from their bits on radio shows and blogs. I've been meaning to read the book forever, and assumed I'd really like it. I'm surprised instead to find myself doubting conclusions that are based on unfounded assumptions (or maybe they are founded; if so, they aren't explained), and generally finding the topics less than fascinating. Not sure if I'll finish it.
