it was ok
bookshelves: british-type-things, dessert, mystery, series

I'm not sure if I should even really classify Hamish Macbeth books as mysteries, since there never seems to be any way to figure out whodunit. This "mystery" was rather flat.

But I did appreciate Beaton's satirical look at the process of turning books into TV series ... I haven't seen the lovely (short and not-red-haired) Robert Carlyle as Hamish, but I have a feeling this book was her commentary on that.
