really liked it

Sarah's journey was heart stopping. Both from the vivid, lyrical descriptions of the safari, with it's beauty and brutality, and from the edge of sanity that Sarah seemed to always teeter on. That she let her husband and Max push her around and make her feel small had me angry and then I began to recognize the problem. Sarah's compulsions, justifying behaviors, impulsiveness, etc. and her history of mental problems after her father's demise all came together to show the fragile mental condition that ruled her. Worth reading.
