it was amazing

My favorite childhood book of all time.
From around the time my baby sister was born, maybe after, this was my favorite children's book ever. I was even a little young for it when I first read it. A Native American love story of moral compass, short enough for children to understand and enjoy, with brilliant artwork.
Not totally sure about the date I first read it but I still own a copy of my own, which I keep by my bed at almost 26 years old with a family of my own. My daughter will love it one day soon as she learns to read more.

Note: Published long before Goodreads states here... it was printed in Hong Kong as early as 1988 by South China Printing Co. It's original copyrights for Rafe Martin and illustrator David Shannon are for 1992. Looking right at it here in my copy.
