The Napping House was a cute story! It was short and the perfect length for Primary level readers. It gives the reader a chance to be able to make predictions based on the clues of the events of the story. The illustrations are bright and detailed and also give hints as to what will happen on the next page. This keeps the young reader engaged. Since it follows a pattern, young children will have an easy time being able to pick up on that and follow along. It would be a great teaching tool because it also incorporates counting into the story. Every page has a different number of animals on the bed or falling off. It can not only be used as a classroom book, but also a good bedtime book for kids. They might want to be just like the characters in the story and want to fall right asleep. Overall I liked this book.
