A quite good collection of stories departing from the Holmes milieu. All are well composed and enjoyable except two. The one by Chetwynd is not believable to me, I am unable to suspend disbelief because his portrayal of Carlisle and the Army War College quite contradict all of my experiences there as student and alumnus. The last story, cast in Tweets, simply fails to engage. I cannot even read it a hundred words it is so offputting. With these two exceptions, recommended to all but the most reactionary of Doyle readers.
