I apologize for my rant in advance but I really, really have to vent.

Holy cow! I can’t believe that such crude and cheap cr*p has found a publisher. I am seriously annoyed! WTF??? In order to properly file this story I had to add a few new shelves. I decided to buy Copping a Feel after reading a specific review. I quote: “This book had some of the most well written sex scenes that I’ve ever read.” Duh? Well, we have to agree to disagree. I have read about 90 erotic stories to date. Honestly, Copping a Feel is the worst erotic novella I’ve ever read.

*********SPOILER ALERT*************

The hero happens to make an appearance at the heroine’s front door. Of course he’s already somewhat aroused. The door opens and the heroine’s dog is attacking the poor guy. The dog attack seems to be totally arousing. I get it that this is fiction but I didn’t buy it when the hero sported a hard-on while being attacked by Darci’s mutt. Seriously? And a moment after this incident Jarrod kissed Darci and they got down to business. Oh, yes, he didn’t even need medical assistance after the dog bite. What follows suit is a total disgrace. The sex scenes were badly written and a HUGE turn-off. They were cheap. Oh, yeah, porn vibes all the way! I couldn’t find anything erotic, passionate or sensual about Copping a Feel. Where was the chemistry between these two? It is just not enough to stick your tongue into a woman’s mouth. It is just not enough to stick your d*ck into a woman’s c*unt, either. On top of that, if you want to talk dirty then do it right, please!! WTF? Again. The hero was horny as hell all the time and he sported a hard-on 24/7. What a poor and pathetic guy!

Yes, you are oversexed, Darci! I couldn’t agree more. Oh, wait, Jarrod is oversexed, too. Perfect combo! Jarrod, I am so happy that you understood fate for the first time. You were so meant to meet this woman, and you truly deserved each other. Oh, please, spare me! *rolls eyes*

One more thing…Jarrod, I give you permission to run away with Darci to Melbourne, Prague…s*it, Greenland would do. Cry of terror! Please, someone put me out of my misery!

Copping a Feel is a pathetic and sorry excuse of an erotic short story. I do regret that I bought two novellas at the same time. I just hope the other one will be better. Hope dies last…

Rant over.

PS
I do apologize to all my Australian GR friends that I used Melbourne in my review but I was citing a quote.

Jill Oh good! I did read one of LC's books last week. I loved the idea of an Australian hero and setting, but had to return it as it wasn't my cuppa.

Jill Yes, it was Triple Dare. I really wanted to read Dare Me which is the sequel but thought I'd read the first one as well. But TD had a threesome.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish You know, you really need to learn to let go of your emotions. Don't keep things so bottled up inside. ;)

Great review!

Kristen Straightforward and honest review, Baba! Sometime you just need to rant because you wasted valuable time reading a book so awful you wish there was a way to bleach it out of your mind.

Thanks, Kristen! Honestly, I don't enjoy to give bad ratings but sometimes there's just no other option and after a good rant I felt better. :(
