I had originally marked this as "Do Not Plan to Read", but that must have been a few years ago before I began my Goosebumps marathon. This was next up.

It read as a children's book more so than the others. And there was nothing creepy about this until the very end and that was iffy at best.

Children being children. Courtney comes across to the other children as Miss Perfect, one who is never afraid of anything. The others devise plan after plan to scare her. Each fails. Even the climax of the story fails to garner the reaction sought.

Frankly, I was left wanting with this. Yes, I could see this being an after-school special, but not an eerie tale of woe. The weak link, so far, for me in this series.
