it was amazing
bookshelves: five-star-books

Read it, loved it, ordered a copy for the kids!

***Wendy asked for more reviewage:

I really enjoyed Deza's voice as the narrator. I thought the author used just the right amount of mis-usage of words to make it endearing and real rather than annoying. I also the author did well creating a story that's both relevant to kids today AND historically interesting. And it's about a gifted kid who also seems like a REAL kid. But really, I had to give it five stars just because it excited me enough that I wanted to buy a copy immediately, which is vague and subjective and something I don't do very often.

Wendy Would be interested in a review. Did you read Bud, Not Buddy?
