it was amazing

I received a free uncorrected proof of The Last Nude, and I was drawn to it because I really like novels about art and the Jazz Age. (I have taught The Great Gatsby for years!) The Last Nude is an intriguing look at the time period--the people, the art, the role of women, etc. Some might find the heavy reliance on dialogue a bit off-putting, but I wasn't bothered by it. I found myself thinking about the passage regarding how artist's consider the model's underlying muscular structure when painting. I've looked at some art work in a new way since then.
