it was amazing
bookshelves: apocalyptic-adventures

Some other reasons why I enjoy this series. For me it is filling the hole that Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead has left behind. Unlike those two aforementioned popular titles, this series isn’t trying to imitate or cash in on their success. Instead it takes a little bit from Wayward Pines and a little bit from Falling Skies and makes a brand new story of hardship, survival, and human resistance. It also focuses on the power of intelligence, observation and analysis. It shows that if one tries hard enough, studies hard enough, and is determined enough that humans are capable of amazing feats and accomplishments. That is something that isn’t in the forefront of popular shows like Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. (At least now as featured as the Promised Neverland is.)
