Read 2 times. Last read November 1, 2011.

This is my second read of this book - about seven years apart. It deserves its Pulitzer prize and has remained the foundation of a lot of modern historical thought on the development of of civilization. Regardless of who you are, you owe yourself a read of this book. It's accessible to everyone but covers some very important topics in understanding human society.
