The Soccer Player and the Single Mom
I must admit that the cover of this book really didn’t draw me in, but as a lover of sports romance, I decided to give it a go. I’m happy that I did, as the story was fun, easy to follow, and kept me interested. I really liked the banter between the characters, and Felicity’s mum and son, really added some fun moments to the book. But naturally not all can go smoothly, and witnessing the angst that was their working relationship, and their trying to navigate the taboo of that dilemma, was definitely interesting. I did get a little frustrated with the prolonged stubbornness, and the drawn out times when forgiveness was necessary, but overall it was an enjoyable read and one that I happily recommend.
