really liked it

Spent my day reading this instead of cleaning house for a party! Lol

Thoroughly enjoyed this variation of Austen's classic by Robin Helm. In this story, a few character traits are different from what we have come to love. Without giving too much away, let's just say that Elizabeth isn't a fan of walking or exercise, and when she hears Darcy's assembly hall put down, she begins to question certain things which have been on her mind for a while. Both she and Darcy are as headstrong as ever, and split narratives allow us to see what's going on in not just Elizabeth's head, but Darcy's as well (something I personally enjoy in fan fictions). The setting for this story is completely in Hertfordshire, between Longbourn and Netherfield, so no journeying to Pemberley, but there is enough action going on that you don't really even notice it. A twist in the story puts another contender for Elizabeth's hand into play, and let's face it, who doesn't love a good love triangle? Who will Elizabeth choose? Read the book and find out!
