Many kids will relate to this book. A great choice for SEL - anxiety - and building community - we all have our fears. From the author/illustrator of The Journey, this could be seen as a companion text as it tells the story of a girl who is in a new country where she doesn't know the language and has fears about going to school and navigating everyday life. It can be read alone, but seems to become more poignant with the connection between the two books.
