Whenever you read more than one of something, there appears to be a need to compare. I am going to eschew that and just say I enjoyed this volume. The ending is still oddly done for my tastes, but reading long after publication doesn't really affect me in that regard.

The girls have their own dramas going on here. Daisy ponders lesbian lifestyle, Susan hooks up with McGraw, and Esther has drama-palooza throughout.

While I am surprised I like this stuff, I guess I am more surprised that a guy writes it. It seems very chick-y with seemingly insights to their POV.

Fun stuff. The Susan backstory was a bit hard on the belief system. ;)
