Dimah Emerson probably represents a lot of young girls who have been bullied. I was in her world many years ago so there were many things I could resonate with her. Bullied, misunderstood, ridiculed, assaulted and put down. Dimah represents a lot of young girls and how bullying can turn a sinister direction.

Dimah lived in her own world, head down, was a shell of the person she used to be and basically lost herself but what I loved about this short story is the transformation of Dimah and she eventually finds herself. A slow brewing storm she finally blows up and takes ownerships of her life and stands up to the bullies.

A story that reminds us that sometimes we need to find ourselves to survive and losing herself was the end.

"You are strong. You are beautiful. You are smart. You are enough. Don't let those who have brought you down continue to do so. Take back the power from those who have hurt your. Find yourself, love yourself" - Gianna Gabriella Author.
