it was amazing

I honestly don't know how Mass can be such a fantastic writer with every single book she does. In other words, 11 Birthdays is another winner. It's such a compelling story with a great paranormal-ish mystery at the core of it. To kinda sum it up, it's almost like the movie "Groundhog Day" for middle schoolers, but with a different backstory as to why the main characters are reliving the same day over and over again. I had a difficult time putting the book down, but I had to because it was getting late and I had a dentist's appointment early in the morning. I finished over half the book in one night and then completely finished the rest the next day. And I love the way Mass writes her characters- she writes them just so well and has some wonderful insights into all of them and into humans as a whole, it's just amazing. Seriously, if you haven't read any of her books, you need to, and this one is a perfect start. WAY highly recommended!
