(AUDIO BOOK) This was disappointing. I generally do not like continuation stories of classics that are written by someone other than the actual author. But this sounded fun, light and unique. Unfortunately, it fell flat :(
The actual writing itself was excellent-the wording used was closer to the style of Jane Austen than most. But the plot was lame. The story seemed to go on and on and there really were no good clues given to the reader so that they could try to figure out the mystery. You just had to wait till the end to be told what actually happened-and it wasn't very exciting at that!
One thing I did like was that the author wove other Austen characters into the story as minor characters...such and the Kinghtleys who lived elsewhere, but knew the Darcy's housekeeper, etc.
Other than that, it was depressing, not well developed and disappointing. Booo!
