it was amazing
bookshelves: romance, vampire, werevolves, steampunk

I absolutely LOVED this books. I was sucked into this world from the very first page. Alexia is so witty and strong, I absolutely love her. I love that Gail Carriger has chosen to place such a strong willed female character in the Victorian setting, a time of restrictions - both physically through fashion and emotionally through societal norms.
Carriger weaves a tale that constantly kept me guessing and crying out for more. I love the gentle combination of horror, fantasy, romance, and steampunk. All four of these combined, when done right, back me instantly fall in love with a book.
This is one series that I'm always waiting on the edge of my seat for the newest instalment to come out - I always end up purchasing in its first weekend.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Seriously, I would. I'm 21 and I love it, and my 50 year old mother loves the series as well. So make sure you put this bad boy on your book shelf today.
