Murder in an English Village (Beryl and Edwina Mystery #1)
This was entertaining enough, but nothing special. I definitely did not suspect the culprit, as the information kept coming slowly. The characters were rather stereotypical, and much of the revelations smacked of melodrama, but I was in the mood for something light and fluffy, and it certainly fit that bill. Shout-out to the superb narration by Barbara Rosenblat. I am not usually a big fan of readers making up voices, but she was so perfect that I completely accepted them as separate characters. I suspect the story would have been less interesting if I was reading it myself.
