While I didn't think this second book was quite as strong as the first one, I still enjoyed being back in this fictionalized version of Georgetown among Krista Davis's wonderful characters. There were quite a few moments in the story that caught me by surprise, and I enjoyed Florrie's interactions with all of the regular characters, and especially with her love interest, Eric and with her sister, Veronica. The mystery plot felt a little circuitous to me, but it did all come together well in the end, and the story had a satisfying resolution that left me looking forward to book 3!
