From the Memoirs of a Non-Enemy Combatant
I didn't know what to think when I picked up this book and saw the title and the illustration on the cover. A hooded prisoner in an orange jumpsuit sitting on a toliet reading a Vogue magazine. But it did what it was designed to do, grabbed my attention. I don't know how to quite review this book, in all honesty. All I know is I had a hard time putting it down when I'd find the time to read it. This is going to be one of those books that will stay with me for a long time. The ending was, cliche, I know, haunting.
