My book club is full of nurses who work with stroke victims. I read this book hoping to get a better understanding of their work.

Jill wrote the book as well as narrated it.

Her account of her stoke was amazing. Her description of the onset of each symptom with the clarity of hindsight makes you feel the dispare as she travels through it. She doesn't dwell on her recovery, and instead takes the reader on a trip around the workings of the left and right sides of one's brain.

I learned a lot and highly recommend it.
