I love The Guilty Feminist podcast. I love Frances-White's ability to check her privilege at the door and admit there are times she gets it wrong. The fact she seeks out to include those who are so often excluded from our society is amazing and can only make those who listen to the podcast and take what they hear onboard better people.
I liked the book - it was like reading the podcast rather than listening to it. It covered so many themes I've heard over the years so it felt to me there was nothing new for long time listeners. I missed the diversity of voices I hear on the podcast.
I do think this is an important addition to the body of feminist literature out there. I hope it brings new listeners to the podcast so they can see DFW practises what she preaches.
