it was amazing
bookshelves: cult-writers

One of the first and finest examples I read of the poetry-of-the-mundane genre, one which turned my head onto a whole corner of fiction where nothing-exciting-happens. Unfortunately (however many times I've tried to overlook it) a chapter where Bukowski's alter-ego Chinaski rapes a disabled woman means I've never been able to recommend it to certain friends.
