really liked it

There was a lot of good things I enjoyed about this book. So much that I want to read book two. This is how you get readers excited about a series with a good, strong first book. Instantly, the mystery surrounding Mackenzie's Aunt Sara and what she did with her hidden life was interesting. It was made even more intriguing by the mystery involving Moses's staff. Another reader commented on this unique take on a biblical figure and I would agree. It is unique and that is why makes this book so interesting.

The journey that Mac took to solve the mystery of Moses's staff was filled with lots of action and intrigue. There was not a dull moment. In fact, because I was so engaged in the story and the characters this was a fast read for me. I finished it in one day. I almost tried to slow myself down so that I was not reading so fast but couldn't. I suggest you check this book out.
