really liked it
Read from January 29 to February 11, 2012

I came across Brene Brown online giving her speech at TED. Then I had to buy all her books for myself for my annual "fix me" New Year's ritual of self-help books. Her prism is her research on shame and disconnection, and I found it a really powerful way to think about a lot of the things I struggle with. I recommend it for your next "fix me" mood. The kicker though is that you may put it down thinking you don't need to be fixed after all.
