Found it hard to maintain the same enthusiasm I had from book 1, this series seems to be dying a slow painful death. You could easily miss several of the books out and the entire series could be much more compact.

The author dragging out a very thin plot over 12 books is really showing now and screams her 13 book deal with the publisher.

The lack of Eric in this book suited me as Im a real Bill fan and fully expect for the finale to include Sookie and Bill living happily ever after.

For me there is no comparison to the fantastic award winning True Blood series Producer Alan Ball has delivered a more satisfying work and brought the charactors alive dispencing with the cringe worthy Harris treatment. Of course introducing us all to the delights of Moyer and Skarsgard has really helped turn me away from Charlaine Harris vision.
